Google’s Speed Of Indexing

I’ve noticed recently that Google seems to have really speeded up the rate at which the add fresh pages to their index. This is the case, at least, with pages on a domain that already has developed some “trust”. On blogs that I update frequently the speed of indexing is nearly astounding.
You can be indexed the same day you post in certain cases!
I’ll probably shock some people with this statement, but I have to make it because it’s true. I’ve replicated it on so many occasions, it can’t be a fluke. Certain Google Data Centers update nearly instantly.
Now when I tell you this information, I’m making a couple assumptions, namely:
- You already update often
- You have mastered the art of RSS for fast indexing
- You have sufficient incoming links
If so, I think you probably have already noticed the speed I’m speaking of.
