Same Old Crap Dominates SEO Conversations

I’ve been reading SEO discussions online for at least 4 years and I have to say the current conversation is quite, quite dull. The primary conversations are now repeating themselves, as very little new or interesting is being said about the subject. It’s not hard to understand why. In the last few years, almost all well-know SEO loop-holes have been closed, so there are fewer “secrets” to even share.

Add to that the fact that most of the main SEO blogs are run by people ensconced in a very small social circle and you soon realize that the current state of affairs will probably continue for the foreseeable future.

I can’t pretend I plan on discussing any SEO secrets in this blog post, either, so I admit I’m not adding to the solution, but rather the problem!

Maybe a new discovery is right around the corner. I can’t say for sure. But if SEO continues to be as bland as it has been, I just might quit reading about the subject altogether!
