Severe tornadoes hit the town of Atkins, Arkansas, killing a couple and a small child.

The storm caused damage in Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Damage was severe enough to close polls and disrupt voting.

Atkins is located in Pope County, Arkansas. Five people were also injured due to the storms.
