It’s National Chocolate Chip Day! Now that’s a dangerous holiday, if ever I’ve heard one. Considering how bad the national obesity epidemic has become, it’s not right to promote something so gooey, so rich, and so delectably tasty as the chocolate chip.

Some people like chocolate chip cookies, but other forget the formalities and dive right in, eating just the chocolate chip. They don’t need extra wrappings, focusing instead on the simplicity and tastiness of the chocolate chip itself.

It’s those people who are happiest on National Chocolate Chip Day. It’s to them we wish you “season’s greetings”.

Just so you know, chocolate chips are merely cut up pieces of Nestle’s semi-sweet chocolate that have been around since 1933!
