The Gulf of Aden is in the news, because it's where a French boat was seized by pirates. The Gulf of Aden is located in the Indian Ocean, off of Somalia.
In 2007, Pirates captured at least 24 ships off the coast of Somalia.

Vicki Van Meter has committed suicide by shooting herself. She was the youngest pilot ever to cross the U.S., when she did it as a young girl. Unhappiness is the reason cited for her recent actions.
Van Meter died Saturday and her body was found in her Meadville home ...

The U.S. Government has flooded the Grand Canyon with 50,000,000 gallons of water in the hope of restoring the eco-system of the National Park.
This is the third time in the 30 year history of the Grand Canyon they have used this technique.
