It’s Lincoln’s Birthday today. It’s a day when we, as Americans, contemplate a great President, Mr. Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in Hardin, Kentucky. Had he lived, he would be 199 years old today.

Happy Birthday, Abraham Lincoln! You were our 16th President, but you will always be number one in our hearts.

Seton Hall Shooting

It has been a busy week for school shootings and there is another one to report. One man is in the hospital as a result of the Seton Hall shooting, an incident in which he shot himself. Seton Hall University is currently locked down as a result of the trouble.

The man has been identified as Anthony Papalia, 22 years old, of Aberdeen. He was on the campus visiting his girlfriend. What prompted him to shoot himself is a matter of speculation.

Papalia is currently in stable condition.

There are no other injuries to report.

Drinking Chocolate

Drinking chocolate is all the rage. For people who didn’t think that chocolate drinks were “chocolate-y” enough, Ghirardelli has introduced the ultimated Chocolate drink.

The concoction is made by melting Ghirardelli chocolate with milk.

Umm, umm….calories! If you can afford a zillion extra calories in your daily diet, then drinking chocolate is the way to go.

Marilyn Jo Jenkins is in the news today.

Bernstein alleges that Bill Clinton cheated on Hillary with Marilyn Jo Jenkins.

Marilyn Jo Jenkins is featured in a new book by Carl Bernstein. In the book Bernstein alleges that former President William Jefferson Clinton was on the verge of divorcing Hilary because of Marilyn Jo Jenkins who is described as a “Arkansas utility company official” who knew Clinton during his days as Governor of Arkansas.

Both Clinton and Jenkins described their time together, which was recorded in public rolls, as being quite innocent.

How Old Is Tina Turner?

A lot of people are wondering how old Tina Turner is after her performance last night at the Grammy Awards.

The answer is: Tina Turner is 68 years old.

She was born November 26th., 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee of all places. Her name was Annie Mae Bullock then.

Here is her performance at last night’s Grammies which has everyone wondering how old she is. Check it out. They didn’t make 68 year olds like her when I was a kid.

The Princess And The Marine

The Princess and the Marine are in the news today. “The Princess and the Marine” was a TV movie based on the real-life adventures of a U.S. Marine and a Bahrani princess.

American Marine Jason Johnson finds love with a local woman when he serves in Bahrain. The big problem with Meriam is that she is a member of the Bahranhi royal family and get be involved with the brash American.

Blow Energy Drink

Blow Energy Drink is all the rage these days. The product is mainly known for its’ clever marketing campaign, which seems to be saying: “I love cocaine” by using the slang “blow” instead. So far the drink is selling like, well, uh an illegal drug.

Of course the drink doesn’t contain cocaine, just the whisper that it might. Instead it is loaded with taurine and caffeine, as are most energy drinks.

Blow Energy Drink. It’s hot this week.
